Weekly Update -- 30th January,2023

Posted on:January 30, 2023 at 11:22 PM

Hey there,
Here’s my weekly update for the final days of January…

This week was all about finding my rhythm. I started off feeling overwhelmed from working on the career crowding simulation, but by the end of the week, I had not only completed it, but also found my footing and a sense of calm.

Just like a long-distance runner needs to find a rhythm and stick with it, I did the same. With the help of this rhythm, I was able to complete the version two of the simulation while also taking some time off to reflect.

Aside from work, I also had a good week in terms of my marathon training. I hit ran a total of 23 km, including two 10 km runs and a personal record of 52:52 minutes in a 10k race.

While the week wasn’t without its challenges, such as giving in to temptation and having trouble sticking to my morning routine, I also made time for rest and reflection. I took a step back and allowed myself to recharge, both mentally and physically. This helped me focus on my priorities and remind me of whats really important.

So that’s my story for this week. It wasn’t perfect, but I learned that sometimes, it’s the imperfections that make us grow and find a new rhythm.

How was your week? I’d love to hear about it.

Quote for the week.

I would rather have questions that can’t be answered than answers that can’t be questioned.
